    Disk activity when using CA Innoculate IT
    This is an Antivirus program from Computer Associate.
    It causes a lot of disk activity when GetRight is downloading. Not sure there's a fix other than using a different virus scanner…
    There might be a fix coming in GetRight version 5.0. Go to the 5.0 "Advanced/Saving" configuraion screen and use the "Extra File Write Cacheing." If the antivirus is scanning as things are written to disk, this could help, by having GetRight write bigger blocks of information less often.

    GetRight and Windows XP Help and Support Center
    It seems if GetRight is installed, searches in Windows XP's "Help and Support" program don't return any results. Is an odd conflict with the current IE click monitoring.

    There is a workaround for now:
    If you use an alternate Alternate Click Monitoring DLL (download link below - 154K installer, updated April 25, 2002..)
    In the installer, on the 2nd page, you should check the box about turning off the default IE click monitoring. After installing this update, the Windows XP Help and Support program should work (might need to reboot first.)
    Note: The checkbox in the GetRight Monitor configuration for Internet Explorer will be turned off and should be left off. This alternate Internet Explorer monitoring will use the Netscape checkbox to tell if it should monitor clicks or not.

    If it is new, send email about it to bugs@headlightsw.com.

    If it applies, please include the address of the web page you were using to make reproducing easier.
    And if it applies, pick the "View Header" menu option in the downloading window, and cut-and-paste the text shown into the mail message.

    Problems Uninstalling GetRight--missing INSTALL.LOG file, or others.
    We have gotten a few reports of people having trouble uninstalling GetRight. Usually the uninstaller gives a message that it cannot find the install.log file.
    Normally, the uninstaller included with GetRight should work fine. However, if it does not, and you want to uninstall GetRight, the alternate uninstaller (link below) will work.

    Problems shutting down the computer. With Windows 98SE
    For problems with Windows 98SE and using GetRight's "Shutdown Computer When Done". For some people it can get stuck at the "shutting down your computer" page.

    This appears to actually be a Microsoft Windows 98SE problem. Microsoft has a fix for it:
